Have you ever wondered why there are people at your office that you just don't get along with? You may or may not be surprised to find out that people tend to get along better with people that share similar motivators, and have conflict with individuals who don't. For example: If your business partner is a High Utilitarian and is driven to increase profits, they might have something to say about a Highly Social business partner who likes to donate a lot of that money to charity. Or, a Highly Theoretical lab partner might find it annoying that their Highly Aesthetic partner spends all of their time making the lab results look pretty, versus focusing on the research. What we find important, individuals with conflicting motivators may not!
